Are you looking for inspiration, proven pages you can steal from to improve your landing page? Then you're in the right place!
This article will not only show what makes a great landing page, you'll also discover the best ones with live examples.
But first, let me explain what common landing page best practices make a highly converting page 👇
What are Landing Page Best Practices and How Does a Landing Page Work?
At the end of the day, a great landing page is simply one that clearly defines its value to its audience and generates leads.
It is free of distraction and focused on the end goal. From the headline and offer, all the way down to the footer, every aspect focuses on conversion.
Many great landing pages include the following elements:
✅ An amazing offer
✅ They are super simple with clear concise copy
✅ They have clear call to actions
✅ Social proof to back up the brand's claims
✅ A video further detailing the offer and its value
✅ Relatable photos to help the visitor envision themselves after getting the offer
✅ Answers to frequently asked questions to reduce objections and friction
Coming up with landing page ideas that will help convert visitors into customers might seem easy enough, but it can be a lot more difficult than it sounds. After all, even seemingly minute details can have a major impact on your conversion rates.
Landing Page Example 1 to 10
Here are some of my favourite examples of highly converting landing pages. Below each landing page example in this article, I've included a summary of what the brand did right so you can get some ideas of what to include in your own design to increase conversions and overall success.
#1. Shopify's free trial landing page example - https://www.shopify.com/free-trial
This landing page example is simple and to the point ✅
The headline is short, catchy and uses emotion evoking words. Your headline needs to state the problem you're solving, be strong and emotive - this landing page headline does just that.
I like the fact there is only one field to fill out before you get started. All of this makes it easier for you to get to the point: selling online with their tool.
Another nice feature is the micro text by the CTA button, the 'no credit card required' make you feel more obliged to go ahead. What I would change here is to add an emoji 👉 to the button to visually tell users what to do next.
What's lacking for me is social proof/trust above the fold. It would be nice to see star rating reviews or some social proof to reduce doubt and improve credibility. For example "⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4.9/5 rating - Trusted by over 1,000,000 businesses worldwide"
#2. Uber Eats Takeaway Landing Page Example - https://www.ubereats.com/gb
This landing page example couldn’t be any more simple. They place the call-to-action right in the middle of the page so it can't be missed. There is no white noise to distract you from the one objective. Find food in your area in seconds - easy.
Again, social proof is missing for me on this landing page design example. Adding social proof adds instant credibility to the value you're promising
#3. Hellofresh Receipe Boxes Landing Page Example - https://www.hellofresh.co.uk/
What I love about the Hellofresh landing page structure is that it uses real, relatable and desirable imagery. The images of food make you your mouth water and the way the include images of families and friends cooking together make you connect with the product because they show you the desired outcome you're looking for.
I also like how I instantly connect with the headline which straight away tells me that I will save money, time and stress - something we all want 😜
It’s simple and really easy to understand what they’re selling and they have strong high contrasting calls to actions throughout the page.
It tells you exactly how the process works and what you'll find in the box to eliminate friction.
They effectively use blocking to separate the important sections of the page and, again, guide your eye.
#4. Slack Messaging App Example Landing Page- https://slack.com/intl/en-gb/
This is a great landing page animation example. As soon as you landing on the page you see in real time how the platform works. It gives you a real perspective on you could use Slack for your team and how simple it is to use.
There are strong, compelling headlines throughout the page to highlight all of its major features. Including a strong value proposition.
What they've also done a great job on is their call to actions buttons which are highly contrasting and beg to be clicked! They're also supported by micro text explaining you can try it for FREE. A great message to help users move forward.
Finally, I really like the use of social proof on this page, they have it from both angles, the users and the big brands using Slack. The use of logos for the big brands next to 'trusted by companies all over the world' really builds credibility with the user.
#5. Les Mills On Demand - https://www.lesmills.com/uk/ondemand/
I really like the colour scheme of this page, it’s strong and lively. Exactly what I would expect feel when I workout 😜 The videography is also very emotive, you instantly connect with this and can see yourself working out 🏋️♀️
Above the fold you have a clear and concise headline telling you exactly what the product is, with a strong call to action underneath.
Straight after this they immediately answer my first questions which would be how or what devices can I pay this on. What more do you need to know? What type of classes do they offer, that comes next!
They have a good mix of social proof on the page and overcome any objections with a dedicated block of FAQ’s.
#6. Convert More Lead Generation Landing Page Example - https://www.convert-more.com/landing-page-checklist
What really stands out with this page is the strong CTA button. The colour is a strong contrast to the brand colours with strong words telling the user exactly what to do and what they will get if they click the button.
This landing page for lead generation is also very simple. The short catchy headline tells you exactly what the end result will be if you use download this landing page checklist, with a supporting statement letting you know it was written by experts.
The strong imagery also helps you to visually understand exactly what you are going to get once you submit your email address.
The use of ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating at the top also instils credibility and trust. The words 'other website owners' also helps to connect emotionally with the user.
#7. Convert More thank you Landing Page Example - https://www.convert-more.com/thank-you-landing-page-checklist
A good thank you page confirms your action has been successful, gives you clear guidance on what the next steps are and nurtures you to the next stage of your funnel. This could be an upsell, to join a FB group or simply to offer more information about your products or services.
This page does just that! It's informative and with clear, concise actions.

The crux of a successfully sequenced conversion funnel is based off four foundational steps: the ad, the landing page, the thank you page, and the email.
1. The ad: Make a promise to your prospects and bring attention to something they truly care about in every ad.
2. The landing page: Establish your first real connection with your prospects through empathy and understanding their pain point, then show you have a solution for them on each landing page.
3. The thank you page: Don’t miss the opportunity to show your user something else. This is the perfect place to nurture leads, this is where they are perfectly primed for the next step in your funnel for e.g. the upsell, join a FB group, see more resources.
4. The email: Set the stage for the next steps of the customer journey, as it will have the biggest influence on potential sales.
